What is the best form for me?
There are so many different methods of application for human hair extensions on the market today that it really can be hard to determine which application will work best for you.
We offer tools and supplies to support only two applications that we have found over twenty years to be the best and most popular hair extension applications. Fusion and the Micro Link applications.
The Fusion and the Micro-Link applications can last up to 3-6 months with proper care and should only have to be taken out to be adjusted and moved closer to the scalp due to natural hair regrowth, at which time the extension hair can be used again for the next 3 to 6 months.
Proper care literally means you must maintain the hair by brushing more frequently, tying the hair back to avoid tangles while sleeping or participating in any activity that causes the hair to tangle such as swimming, running, cycling.
When shampooing the hair it is important to shampoo in a downward motion, never pile the hair on top of the head to shampoo, this will avoid excessive tangling. Always brush from the bottom of the hair upward. Deep conditioning the hair is a sure way to keep your extension hair looking it's best. One of the best products we have found for keeping the hair smooth and shiny is "Smoothing Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell". A few drops goes a very long way and it will last forever!
Fusion Application: There are two types of fusion application on the market currently, Hot and Cold fusion. Cold fusion came along with the idea that the natural hair is better protected if the keratin glue was added with no heat. Our opinion only, but after using both methods we have found no significant difference between the two and currently use and offer pre tipped extension hair and tools for hot fusion.
